Olin Russum

Art aficionados have a chance to own an original Russum piece.
Monkton artist/educator Olin Russum, Jr., known to his friends, students and collectors as Russ, died in October 1998. His work ranged from functional ware of all sizes to freestanding sculpture and architectural bas-relief murals as large as 20 by 50 feet.
His work is included in the permanent collections of the Baltimore Museum of Art, Smithsonian Institution, Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington DC , Museo Internationale delle Ceramiche in Faenze , Italy , Rochester Museum of Art in Rochester , N.Y. , and the Lang Gallery of Claremont University in Claremont , CA .
His architectural work can be seen in Baltimore at the Hampton House Apartments, Jewish Community Center, Uptown Federal Building, City Spring Elementary School, Patterson High School, Maryland National Bank and Epiphany Episcopal Church.
