"Discovered and Released"

Just six years before his death, Leonard Dickey embarked upon an award-winning career in art. Celebrate the discovery of never before seen original works by the late Leonard Dickey and favorites newly released in limited edition prints. Prints and originals include beautifully rendered and brilliantly colored landscapes, florals and figures in pastel and gouache. Opening reception: Saturday, April 29, 2006 from 6-8 PM. Show hangs from April 27 – June 5.

"A Day in the Piedmont"

Lisa Kyle’s beautifully rendered pastels of Northern Maryland will inspire you to spend a day in the country. Her pieces are full of texture and color with just enough detail that the viewer feels the warm summer breeze blowing off the wheat fields.  The beauty of Maryland’s landscape is awesome- from the rolling hills to the river valleys, at the crack of dawn and at sunset Lisa Kyle’s rich pastels take you there.
